Believe me, when you meet your Twin Flame you know! You may spend some time denying it to yourself (I know I did) but deep down you do know. Although it is possible that you will know on first sight, it is more likely you will recognise the connection after meeting. Your souls are likely to recognise each other on this first sight but this can take time for this recognition to move into your consciousness.
Here are the signs that will help you confirm if you have met your Twin Flame:
1. Your meeting feels fated:
There will be signs and synchronicities trying to get you to meet. You may or may not have noticed 11:11 appearing to you, this depends on how spiritually aware you are before you meet. You may feel a need to go to a particular place or be bombarded with information regarding attending a particular event. It will feel like the Universe has worked to get you to a particular place to meet your Twin Flame.
2. There is a magnetic pull:
This will not be the usual boy meets girl experience, you won’t just bump into someone and just chat them up, thinking they seem alright. There will be something about this person that you can’t quite put your finger on, they stand out to you and magnetise you. You find yourself paying close attention to them, glancing over to them when you can and wanting to get to know them. It really does feel like a magnet is attracting you to them.
3. You feel like you have known them forever:
You find you can easily converse with this person. You may have only just met but you find yourselves talking about subjects that you would not normally talk about until you’re at least a few months into dating, if not longer. You feel so comfortable talking to them on any subject; you can’t and don’t want to hold back in their company. You can share your innermost thoughts and desires and are open and honest with them. You will probably experience Déjà vu with them, this will be due to past life connections.
4. You have the same wavelength frequency:
You will find yourselves finishing each other’s sentences and having the same thoughts. Maybe you send a text message at exactly the same time as each other. You both seem to each other that you are on the same wavelength (which you are). With other soulmates you have a very similar frequency but with your Twin you really do share the exact same frequency.
5. Eye contact:
The eye contact is so intense. You spend a lot of time really staring into each other’s’ eyes. It is like no-one else exists but the two of you. Maybe you have gone out for a meal for a date, but to you both it will feel like it is only the two of you there and not a crowded restaurant. You can’t take your eyes off them and they can’t take their eyes off you.
6. The relationship moves very quickly:
Even if you both say you want to take things slowly you will soon find you can’t. You will both escalate the relationship quickly and find yourselves in a whirlwind romance, you can’t help it; the emotion and energy take over. You can’t wait to see each other and when you do, you can’t help but lose yourselves in each other. You will quickly see the love in their eyes and body language even though you have probably not admitted you are both in love. Your souls come out to play and you cannot hide it; your souls are in control when you are together. The relationship will feel very passionate and intense. One of you is likely to start to realise that you are in love or falling in love; this person will be the one awakening to this soul connection first.
7. They make you feel alive and they feel like home:
When you truly connect with your twin they will make you feel so alive; more alive than you have ever felt in your life. They will also make you feel like you have come home, you will feel so comfortable in their company and it will feel so right. This feels like Heaven on Earth. Prior to meeting you may have felt like there was someone out there that you should be with. Once you meet your Twin Flame, that feeling stops; you are no longer looking out that window wondering if you are with the right person or searching for the one. You just know that you have met ‘the one’. Deep down there will be no doubt about them being your twin. Your ego will be trying to make you doubt it at times as it is trying to protect you from the pain that will surface whilst going through your healing but when you look into your soul you will see that you know without any doubt what they are to you.
8. Telepathy and other spiritual gifts:
You may not have had a telepathic connection with anyone else before but you will start to notice it with your Twin. Telepathy can easier for Twins as you are on the same wavelength frequency. You will start to feel what they are feeling, sense their moods, and feel them drawing away from you or pulling towards you. In the beginning you may not notice what is your energy and what is theirs but as time goes on you start to recognise this. You may hear words come into your knowing or a song suddenly pays in your head that seems significant, these can be signs of telepathy with your Twin. There may be other spiritual gifts that start opening up to you that have not noticed before but you have become aware or they have been activated since meeting your Twin.
9. You seem very similar on some levels but in other ways your differences complement each other:
You will find that you have a lot of things in common such as likes and dislikes, hobbies, values, ethics etc. You will also find you have differences, but these differences will not be conflicting instead they will be complementary, a yin/yang feeling to them. You will find you have a different way of going about things in some areas, and have strengths that will be their weaknesses and vice versa. The differences you see in your Twin are likely to be parts of yourself that you have yet to see, or a different perspective on how to do things/see things. They hold up a mirror to you on what is missing within yourself to feel whole.
10. They trigger you like no other:
Once you are over the initial whirlwind romance you will find they hold up a mirror to you and trigger you like no other. You will find yourself feeling both very excited by them and very scared at the same time but not knowing why initially. They make you want to become the best version of yourself, they inspire you but on the other hand your fears will start to surface. They highlight what is missing in you and what needs to be healed within yourself. This can start within the initial relationship and will then continue until you have both dealt with all that requires to be resolved within yourselves. It is very likely that you will separate at this stage so that healing can began. One of you will run from the connection and try to deny it whilst the other one tries to confirm that the connection was there. Although it will be hard, at this stage please try not get into runner and chaser mode as this will delay you coming into union. There may be times that you draw back together for a short time to trigger further healing and then separate again. Instead accept this as a needed break from each other to work on yourselves so you can heal what you need to heal. Think of yourselves as one of you being the forerunner and the other as the follower, this will help you to give them the space to catch up with you if you are the forerunner.
11. You are always pulled back to one another:
Once you have met the Universe will do everything it can to try and bring you into union if you are true Twin Flames and will pull you back together when necessary to advance your healing. Eventually you will both be awake to the connection and healed enough to come into union but until then you may find yourselves coming in and out of each other’s lives. Remember that you will both need to heal and learn to care for yourselves first before you can care for each other. There may still be some healing left to do together when you reach union but at this stage things will be less intense and you will be able to help each other through any issues that arise. The Universe is not trying to punish us by giving us our perfect partner then taking them away for ever; the plan is for Twin Flames to get to union, but you have to surrender to the process to care for yourself, to heal, raise your vibration and bring yourself into balance before union can happen
