Energy is constantly moving all around us. It shifts and changes and the only thing that is constant with this is that it will change. When you have a tarot reading it is always based on that current energy and how it’s projecting out into the future from where you are. Quite often when we go for a reading we do so because we need guidance or answers to something on our minds or that we are going through. We can often ask closed questions. We want to know if something will happen, when it is likely something will happen, and sometimes (not always) use it just as fortune telling. A reading should always be viewed as guidance to help steer your journey in the best way forward for you, to highlight the good things and potential challenges coming your way so you can work out your strategy and make a shift if necessary, for you. A tarot reading can predict things in your future but it shouldn’t be used just to predict futures and be deemed to be an absolute of how things will go, you co-create the future with the universe and you have the power to change things that could be coming up for you. If you don’t like something, you have the power to change it. Whilst there are certain things destined on your path, you change the journey along the way, hopefully to make the journey easier, then it’s up to you what you do with that knowledge.
If you visualise a timeline, there is a line going behind you that is representing your past, where you stand is your present, and the line in front of you is your future, that line in front is projecting forward based on where you are now. If you look ahead and like what you see (a tarot reading, akashic records reading, scrying being examples of how you might do this) you continue that course as you were, and the events will play out accordingly. If you look ahead and see actually you are not keen on what you are seeing, this is where you can course correct, you take a decision, maybe there is a sidestep (and you might visualise a new timeline branching out in front of you as you sidestep). This timeline branch now in front of you looks better, more aligned to where you want to be, so now you shift onto this timeline. That decision you made now changed your journey and your future might look different as a result but you may have avoided certain things that weren’t in your best interests and prevented something happening to you that you were keen to avoid, you may have even found that something destined comes in slightly quicker if your decision set you on that course to do so. There are always certain things destined that you can’t change along the way, and not all of them feel good, but you still have the power to be able to change how you respond to it, it could be something needed to propel you onto greater things later on.
So, whenever you get a reading done from anyone, keep your questions open and focus them on how to get the best advice to move you forward with the situation you are enquiring about. Just remember don’t get too hung up on timelines, or whether you hear everything you wanted to hear as you are likely to have received information you needed to hear for your highest good, just use that information to move you forward to the best possible outcome for you, you always have that power within you, never forget that. Use your readings to empower you.
